LONDON

on 24 may 2006, patricia arrived in london! so i took the train over from leeds and met her at Aster Hyde Park Hostel. we stayed in a room of 8 people i think. or was it 10 i dont remember. meh. soooo we stayed for about 6 days i think.

sooo the first day we walked around london and went to the british museum

hehe then we played around with these funny mirrors. we're midgetsSS!!!


the next day we went to portabello market


some random building....


we didn't take much pictures in portabello market...it was alright. then we went around and saw big ben


and took photos with random punks

then we went into a random souvenier shop and tried on some bobbie hats




later on that night we had a bit of a drinking feast at the hostel, they had a bar down in the basement. we met lots of new interesting peoplee....PLENTY of aussies. but aussies are cool. i like aussies. unfortunately i can't remember anyone's names. oh well








the next day we went to CAMMDeEnN tooWwnNNNN, where pat got her piercing!






and then later on that night we had a drinking feast again with some yummy canadian whiskey that pat brought over from the duty free. WISERS. i missed wisers!




and we played pool in the bar of the hostel

and...trying to take pictures of the both of us. but we end up getting most of the birdies on the wall

later on that day we went to see the dali museum and etc across the bridge where the london eye is. but it was damn raining that day




then we went to tate modern museum. this is us outside the museum with some wonderful trees








on our way back crossing the bridge.... i think it was the millenium bridge






sooo then we went home. and then later on that night we went out again and met these random dudes at a bar, who took us to another bar which turned out to be really close to our own hostel! cuz we were worried about getting lost and having to walk many drunken miles home. i remember being very annoyed with the guy beside me. and he was apparently annoyed with me too. and aussie guys were making fun of them














the guy on the left kept buying us drinks with his dad's credit card.


and then we went home to sleep. the next day we saw buckingham palace.
















sooo then after that we went back to camden town...........because i had made an appointment at the same place pat got her piercing......to get a tattoo....GAaAAHHH!


the tattoo guy didn't seem to like his job very much. he was a grumpy one






and the final result once back at the hostel.....looks a bit gory. pat had designed it. GOoOO MOMM!!!


and then....i think we passed out early that night. i don't remember if we drank or not. in which case i would assume we probably did but aNYWAYS the next day we went to leicester square and picadilly circus and that area




we asked this dude to take a picture of us so that he could get the national gallery in the background. but he ends up just taking a full length picture with the wonderful floor


so we ask him to try again and all he does is move a little bit back.


so pat gets fed up and just takes a picture of the damn gallery


that night we went out for a drinkage again

and the we meet this random really drunk girl from the states. and she kept complimenting us. obsessedly. so i told her to come take a pic lol

and after that she was on the floor on the tube almost passing out



and then we really needed to pee




and then we came back to the hostel and people were still up drinkin their balls off. so naturally we joined them


these guys were from mexico and they were teaching me some crazy spanish words.

so the next day we decided to take a walk in hyde park




we saw princess diana's memorial. and a red squirrel




later on that day we had a flight to go to PARIS!!!!!!.........and the journey continues....

PARIS

30 May - 3 June 06

anddddddd into paris we went!!! we got to the hostel called Hotel Richard around 11:00pm....not too shabby. it was nice because me and pat got our own little private room where we shared a double bed. and we saw a homeless guy sleeping on the corner of the street and thought it would have been really funny if it was actaully mike ellis.

the next morning we woke up to find a note slid under our door from mike ellis telling us that he was at the corner where our hostel was. SO IT WAS ACTUALLY REALLY MIKE ELLIS SLEEPING ON THE CORNER.

so we went around for a walk in paris, mike showed us all around since he's been there for about 3 weeks already




we stopped by this bookstore that used to be a bar/cafe where all the writers and artists used to hang out wayy back in the day

there were lots of random cow statues all around paris. this one was covered in spoons

we decided to buy a bottle of wine each since it costed about 2 euros. we chilled in the park by the louvre and drank it. MmMMm i love the laws in france

and then we went back to the hostel in the metro (we let mike stay with us in our room)


the next day we went a very big cemetary and i can't remember the name of it because my french is horrible










then we went walking around somemore


we wanted to go to this market but it turned out to be closed. we saw these cool graffiti automobiles

and then that was the last day in paris.....then we flew back to london and caught the train back to leeds!!!

Leeds

most of the pix from pat's trip in leeds is in the CHEERS blogs because the only thing we really did in leeds was.....drink.....because that's the only thing to do there really. nooo there's some site seeing as well....theres the leeds castle, there's the city centre full of streets and shops, there's the farm, there's........yea.......................that's about it. and there's LOTS of pubs. sooo these are prety much just random pictures

we went to the leeds city market and had ourselves a very english meal. mmmMMm mushy peas


and then we got bored so we decided to use some face masks and scare people in my residence
